WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of 1 ,100 tons
of limestone rock asphalt; and,
WHEREAS, White' s Mines of San Antonio, Texas submitted a
bid in the amount of $10.99 per ton, plus transportation costs; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by White' s Mines is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by White' s Mines in the amount of $10.99 per
ton, plus rail freight, for 1 ,100 tons of limestone rock asphalt is
hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
