WHEREAS, in September, 1982, the City of Beaumont entered
into a contract with Midwest Mechanical Contractors, Inc. in the
amount of $6, 106 ,920 for improvements to the Water Treatment Plant;
and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 has been recommended increasing
the contract price $2 ,828 for painting, for a revised pier depth, and
costs of temporary electrical service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT :
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 to the contract with Midwest Mechanical
Contractors thereby increasing the amount of the contract from
$6,106,920 to 6 ,109,788.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 19� .
