WHEREAS, on the 18th day of May, 1982, the City entered
into a contract with the Beaumont Emergency Medical Services
Corporation for the provision of emergency medical services in the
City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, the city will assume responsibility for this
function on January 1 , 1984 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to authorize the
cancellation of such contract effective January 1 , 1984 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the contract heretofore entered into between the City of
Beaumont and the Beaumont Emergency Medical Services Corporation
on the 18th day of May , 1982 be, and the same is hereby ,
cancelled subject to the approval of such cancellation by the
Board of Directors of the Beaumont Emergency Medical Services
Corporation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
