R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on May 11, 1982 the City of Beaumont awarded a
contract to American Seating Company in the amount of $174 ,244 for
the procurement installation of theatre seating in the Julie Rogers
Theatre; and,
WHEREAS, during installation it was found that 43 less
seats were required than anticipated; and,
WHEREAS, by Change Order No. 1 , the amount of the contract
was decreased by $4 ,300 ;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the procurement and installation of theatre seating in the Julie
Rogers Theatre is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and that
the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to make final
payment to American Seating Company in the amount of $16 ,994. 60.
