WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of periodical
subscriptions; and,
WHEREAS, Schaffer Publications, Inc. , dba Popular
Subscription Service of Indiana submitted a bid in the amount of
$6,744.74 ; and;
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Schaffer Publications, Inc. is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Schaffer Publications, Inc. in the amount
of $6,744.74 for the purchase of periodical subscriptions is hereby
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
