WHEREAS, on January 25, 1983 the City of Beaumont awarded a
contract to Greer Construction Company in the amount of $126 ,156 .65
for Beaumont Water Canal Improvements Contract #4 ; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance with
the plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Beaumont Water Canal Improvements Contract #4 is hereby accepted
by the City of Beaumont and that the City Manager be, and he is
hereby , authorized to make final payment to Greer Construction
Company in the amount of $13,065,67.
