WHEREAS, on October 18, 1983 resolution no. R-83-378
was passed setting a public hearing on November 29, 1983 con-
cerning the application on behalf of the City of Beaumont,
Texas, with the U. S. Department of Transportation, to aid in
the financing of operating assistance projects pursuant to
Section 5 of the Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964, as
amended; and,
WHEREAS, it is being requested that the public hearing
date be rescheduled;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT a public hearing on the above-described transit grant
application be held by the City Council on December 6, 1983 at
1: 15 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, Beaumont,
Texas.
