WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont, through its City Attorney , has
negotiated a settlement with W. A. Hebert, III, et al, owners of a
474.293 acre tract of land, more or less, out of the James Rowe
Survey , Abstract 45, in Jefferson County, Texas for a purchase price
of $625,000 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the 474 .293 acres, more or less, of land for
landfill purposes for $625,000 be, and it is hereby , authorized.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
