R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont desires to
establish an appropriate memorial to the late Dr . Martin Luther King,
Jr. ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires community participation in
the selection of an appropriate memorial;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT a Citizen' s Advisory Committee composed of those persons named
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto is hereby appointed to review and
recommend to the City Council an appropriate means of memorializing
the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr .
