WHEREAS, on September 12, 1983, bids were received for the
construction of the Irving Street Box; and,
WHEREAS, Teal Contracting Co. submitted a bid in the amount
of $706,746.40 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Teal Contracting Co. is the lowest and best bid
received and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Teal Contracting Co. is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont that the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to
enter into a contract with Teal Contracting Co. in the amount of
$706,746.40 for construction of the Irving Street Box.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
