R E SO L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on September 21, 1982 the City of Beaumont awarded
a contract for Grant #C-481254-04 - Contract 9A - Stonetown - Best &
Bennett Force Mains to McCullough Associates, Inc. in the amount of
$331, 359 .33 ; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No . 1 is being proposed in the amount
of $211 .98 to adjust the contract to reflect actual quantities of
pipe and fittings installed, extra items of necessary work and
completion date of contract; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance with
the plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 to the contract between the City of Beaumont and
McCullough Associates, Inc. in the amount of $211 .98 increasing
the amount of the contract to $331,7551 .31 ; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the completion of Contract 9A -
Stonetown - Best & Bennett Force Mains is hereby accepted by the City
of Beaumont and that the City Manager be, and he is hereby ,
authorized to make final payment to McCullough Associates, Inc. in
the amount of $20 ,794 .96 .
