WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of a wheel
balancer; and,
WHEREAS, Snap On Tools of Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid
in the amount of $1 ,837 .50; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Snap On Tools is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Snap On Tools in the amount of $1 ,837 .50 for the
purchase of a wheel balancer be accepted by the City of Beaumont,
and the City Manager is hereby authorized to pay for same upon
acceptable delivery .
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
