R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, in accordance with Article VI, Section 2 of the
Charter of the City of Beaumont, the City Manager has submitted to
the City Council a proposed budget for the fiscal year beginning
October 1 , 1983 and an explanatory budget message in the form
required by Sections 13 and 15 of Article VI of the Charter of the
City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, the budget is a consolidated budget of all funds
of the City, including general revenue sharing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1 .
That the City Council hereby acknowledges receipt of the
proposed budget of the City of Beaumont from the City Manager and
hereby calls a public hearing to be held in the City Council
Chambers at City Hall, Beaumont, Texas on the 30th day of August,
1983 at 1 : 15 o' clock p.m. ; and,
That the City Clerk shall publish notice of the place and
time of said public hearing in a newspaper of general circulation in
the City of Beaumont one time not less than seven days prior to the
date and time set for such public hearing.
