WHEREAS, on November 16 , 1982 the City of Beaumont awarded
a contract to Galaxy Building Corporation for construction of a
restroom/shelter facility and a storage shed at Klein Park and a
restroom/shelter facility and a concession stand at Babe D. Zaharias
Park; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance with
the plans and specifications;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the improvements to Klein Park and Babe D . Zaharias Park are
hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager be,
and he is hereby , authorized to make final payment in the amount of
$16 ,649 .00 to Galaxy Building Corporation for said improvements.
