R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of an annual
supply of water meters to be purchased as needed by the Water
Utilities Department for new and replacement installations; and,
WHEREAS, Neptune Water Meter Company submitted a bid in the
amount of $ 91 ,498.74 as follows:

WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Neptune Water Meter Company is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Neptune Water Meter Company in the amount of
$ 91 ,498 .74 is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to make payment for same as purchased.
