WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of a sewage
grinder pump system; and,
WHEREAS, Automatic Pump and Equipment Co. , Inc. of
Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the amount of $5, 273.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Automatic Pump and Equipment Co. , Inc. is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Automatic Pump and Equipment Co . , Inc. in the amount
of $5, 273 .00 for the purchase of a sewage grinder pump system be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to make payment for same upon acceptable delivery .
