WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of a wheel
type tractor with a utility loader for the Water Reclamation
Division; and,
WHEREAS, Universal Tractor and Equipment of Beaumont,
Texas submitted a bid in the amount of $13,791 .00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Universal Tractor and Equipment is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Universal Tractor and Equipment in the amount of
$ 13,791 .00 for purchase of a wheel type tractor with a utility
loader is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to make payment for same upon
acceptable delivery .
