R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for construction of a
playground and park equipment in Klein Park; and,
WHEREAS, J . R. Plake, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount
of $51 ,228 .00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by J . R. Plake, Inc . is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of J . R. Plake, Inc. is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with J . R. Plake, Inc. in the amount of $51 ,228 .00 for
constsruction of a playground and park equipment in Klein Park .
