WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of five inch
(5" ) , two and one-half inch ( 2-1/2" ) , and one and one-half inch
( 1-1/2" ) fire hose; and,
WHEREAS, Claude Wright and Associates submitted a bid in
the amount of $10,455.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Claude Wright and Associates in the amount of
$10,455 .00 for the purchase of fire hose be accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to make payment
for same upon acceptable delivery .
