R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, on January 1 , 1983, the City of Beaumont awarded a
contract for construction of a covered play area at Magnolia Park to
D & H Construction Company in the amount of $30 ,826 . .00 ; and,
WHEREAS, Change order No . 1 is being proposed in the amount
of $4 ,933 .81 to provide for alterations of the size and location of
several footings because of large pieces of concrete left from the
demolition of the old Magnolia Pool;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAI' the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to execute
Change Order No . 1 , in the amount of $4 ,933 .81 , to the contract
between the City of Beaumont and D & H Construction Company
increasing the amount of the contract to $35,759 .81 .
PASSED BY HE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
