R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the development and
operation of the Lafin Road Landfill; and,
WHEREAS, two ( 2 ) bids were received, all exceeding the
budgeted amount for this project; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bids submitted are excessive and should not be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids received for the development and operation of the
Lafin Road Landfill are hereby rejected.
