R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, on March 30 , 1982, the City of Beaumont awarded a
contract to McCullough Contracting Co. in the amount of $1 ,144 ,796 .00
for construction of a 24" water transmission line and improvements to
Loeb high service pumping station located in Hardin County; and,
WH111REAS, Change order No. 1 was proposed and accepted
increasing the amount of the contract to $ 1 ,146,825 .00 to furnish
and install a transition pipe between the mechanical and flanged ends
from the 36 inch existing pump suction tee and the proposed 36 inch
suction line; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 to said contract has been
proposed to replace chlorine solution piping in the amount of
5874 .49;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to execute
Change Order No. 2 to replace chlorine solution piping increasing the
amount of the contract to $1 ,147,699 .49 .
