WHEREAS, the Lower Neches Valley Authority has tendered
0 . 13 of an acre out of Block 06 of the M . C . Cartwright Subdivision
to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, for the landfill
access road as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a
part hereof; and ,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purposes of
said easement and is of the opinion that the acceptance of said
easement for utility purposes is necessary and desirable and that
same should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT said easement tendered by the Lower Neches Valley Authority
to the City of Beaumont, and the same is hereby , in all things
accepted.

FIEIDNOTE DESCRIPTION of a 0.13 acre tract of land out of Block 6
of the M.C. Cartwright Subdivision, plat of which appears in volume
4, Page 194 of the Map Records of Jefferson County, Texas, said
parcel of land being more fully described as follows;
BEGINNING at a 5/8" iron rod set for the southwest corner of
the tract described herein, said rod being at the intersec-
tion of the east easement line of Ditch fll of Drainage Dis--
trict #6 with the south line of the J.W. Bullock Survey and
being North 890 07' 20" East a distance of 131.00 feet from
southwest corner of the aforementioned Block 6, M.C. Cartwright
Subdivision;
THENCE North 0008 ' East along the east line of Ditch !ill a
distance of 70.00 feet to a 5/8" iron rod set for the north-
west corner;
THENCE North 89007'20" East a distance of :30.00 feet to a
5/8" iron rod set for the northeast corner;
THENCE South 55p33115" East a distance of 121.05', feet to a
5/8" iron rod set on the south line of the J.TA7. Bullock
Survey for the southeast corner;
THENCE South 89007'20" West along the south line of the J.W.
Bullock Survey a distance of 130.00 feet to the PLACE OF
BEGINNING;
CONTAINING IN AREA 0.13 acres of land more or less.
