R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, by Resolution 83-66, adopted February 15, 1983,
the City Council approved the budget of the South East Texas Arts
Council for the fiscal year 1983 in the total amount of $62,508 . 21 ,
to be paid from receipts from the hotel/motel occupancy tax; and,
WHEREAS, hotel/motel occupancy tax revenues have been
less than projected and a reduction in the approved budget of the
South East Texas Arts Council is necessary;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the fiscal year 1983 budget of the South East Texas Arts
Council, approved by the City Council on February 15, 1983, is
hereby reduced to the total amount of $ 48 , 208 . 00
