R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for a six (6 ) month contract
for pit sand; and,
WHEREAS, Beeco Dirt Pit of Vidor, Texas submitted the
following bid:
F .U.B . pit site loaded on City trucks $ 1 .25/cu .yd .
Delivered to landfill in bidder' s trucks $ 3 .18/cu .yd .
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Beeco Dirt Pit is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Beeco Dirt Pit is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a six
(6 ) month contract with Beeco Dirt Pit in the amount stated above for
pit sand.
