R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for a contract for the cleaning
and painting of the exterior of the 1 .5 M .G. elevated water storage
tank located at 3705 East Lucas; and,
WHEREAS, Fairbanks Coating Services submitted a bid in the
amount of $34 , 710.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Fairbanks Coating Services is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Fairbanks Coating Services is hereby accepted by the
City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Fairbanks Coating Services in the amount of $34 ,710 .00
for the cleaning and painting of the exterior of the 1 .5 M .G. elevated
water storage tank located at 3705 East Lucas.
