WHEREAS, on April 27, 1982, the City of Beaumont awarded a
contract for construction of the Dowlen Road T .I .P. project to Troy
Dodson Construction Company in the amount of $2 ,877 , 277 .00 ; and,
WHEREAS, on December 28 , 1982, Council approved Change
Order No. 1 reducing the total contract amount to $2 ,865, 296 .50 ;
and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is being proposed in the amount
of $5,000.00 to provide a detour along Dowlen Road;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to execute
Change Order No. 2 , in the amount of $5 ,000 .00, to the contract
between the City of Beaumont and Troy Dodson Construction Company
increasing the amount of the contract to $2 ,870,296 .50.
