R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of a
replacement for the Gorman Street Bridge and installation of
additional culverts for Hillebrandt Bayou-23rd Street crossing; and,
WHEREAS, S & S Enterprises submitted a bid in the amount of
$156,130. 29; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by S & S Enterprises is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of S & S Enterprises is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with S & S Enterprises in the amount of $156,130 .29 for the
construction of a replacement for the Gorman Street Bridge and
installation of additional culverts for Hillebrandt Bayou-23rd Street
crossing.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
