WHEREAS, bids were received for the demolition of the
following structures:
650 Elm
(3 structures)
2022 Oakland
3650 St. Helena
(Garage)
and,
WHEREAS, A. W . Busby Contracting, Inc. submitted a bid in
the amount of $1 ,375.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by A. W. Busby Contracting, Inc . is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of A. W . Busby Contracting, Inc . is hereby accepted by
the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with A. W. Busby Contracting, Inc. in the amount of
$1 ,375.00 for the demolition of the structures listed above.
