WHEREAS, on April 5 , 1983, the City of Beaumont awarded
bids to A. W. Busby Contracting, Inc. in the amounts of $2 ,502.65
and $1 ,787 .96, respectively , for demolition of structures at 2893
Concord and 2020 Poplar; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance
with the specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT demolition of the structures at 2893 Concord and 2020 Poplar
are hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager
be, and he is hereby , authorized to make final payment to A. W.
Busby Contracting, Inc . in the amount of $4 ,290.61 .
