R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont has, by
Resolution No. 83-21, authorized the City Attorney to file
proceedings in eminent domain against all owners of interest to
acquire fee title to the two ( 2 ) parcels of land necessary for the
new landfill; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized and
directed to employ the law firm of Mehaffy, Weber, Keith and
Gonsoulin to represent the City of Beaumont in the acquisition of
the two ( 2 ) tracts of land needed for the new landfill site through
proceedings in eminent domain;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he
is hereby, authooized to pay fees and expenses incurred from the
landfill fund.
