R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for
90 ,000 gallons of aviation gasoline and a monthly lease on a mobile
fueler; and ,
WHEREAS, Tech-Jet, Inc. of Dallas, Texas submitted a bid in
the amount of $117,030. 00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Tech-Jet, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUM.ONT:
THAT the bid of Tech-Jet, Inc. is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with Tech-Jet, Inc. in the amount of $117 ,030. 00 for an
annual contract for 90,000 gallons of aviation gasoline and a monthly
lease on a mobile fueler.
