TO ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION OF
BEAUMONT MULTI-FAMILY HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION
WHEREAS, by order the City Council ( the "Governing Body" )
of Beaumont, Texas, authorized and approved the creation of the
Beaumont Multi-Family Housing Finance Corporation ( the
"Corporation" ) as a nonprofit public corporation under the
provisions of the Texas Housing Finance Act, Article 12691-7,
Vernon' s Annotated Texas Civil Statutes, as amended ( the "Act" ) ;
and,
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has approved the Corporation' s
Articles of Incorporation dated May 14 , 1980 ; and,
WHEREAS, the Governing Body may adopt amendments to the
Corporation' s Articles of Incorporation without action by the
Board of Directors of the Corporation;
NOW, iHEPL: 'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
BEAUMONT, TEXAS, THAT:
The Articles of Amendment to the Articles of Incorporation
of the Beaumont Multi-Family Housing Finance Corporation,
substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit "A" , are
hereby approved and adopted.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to execute, verify and cause to be filed with the Secretary of
State of Texas the Articles of Amendment to the Articles of
Incorporation of the Beaumont Multi-Family Housing Finance
Corporation substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit
"A" , together with such changes therein as may be approved by
the Mayor, his approval to be conclusively evidenced by his
execution thereof.

ARTICLES OF' AMENDMENT
TO
ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION
OF
BEAUMONT MULTI-FAMILY HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION
We , the undersigned William E. Neild, Mayor, and Myrtle
Corgey , City Clerk , in accordance with the provisions of Article
12691-7 , Vernon' s Annotated Texas Civil Statutes, as amended, do
hereby adopt the following Articles of Amendment to the Articles
of Incorporation for Beaumont Multi-Family Housing Finance
Corporation.
AMENDMENT
ARTICLE I
Article VI , paragraph A, of the Articles of Incorporation
dated May 14 , 1980, is amended as follows:
A. The Corporation shall have and possess all powers
enumerated in the Texas Housing Finance Corporation Act,
including the powers specified in subsection ( 19) of Section 13
relating to the issuance of bonds to defray , in whole or in
part, the development costs of any residential development;
provided, however, that the Corporation shall not have nor
exercise the powers specified in subsections ( 13) through ( 18 ) ,
both inclusive, of Section 13 of the Act relating to the making
and acquiring of home mortgages and the making of loans to
lending institutions for the purpose of making home mortgages.
AMENDMENT
ARTICLE II
On March 22, 1983, the governing body of the City of
Beaumont, Texas, duly adopted a resolution approving these
Articles of Amendment to the Articles of Incorporation.
