WHEREAS, on January 11 , 1983, the City of Beaumont awarded
a contract to Gulf Coast Industrial Contractors, Inc. in the amount
of $424,000. 00 for Contract 8C , Stonetown-Best, Helbig Road and
Bennett Street Lift Stations - Grant #C-481254-04 ; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 to said contract has been
proposed to insert current Department of Labor Wage Rate
Determination #82 TX 691 dated February 2 , 1983 into the contract
documents and to delete therefrom Department of Labor Wage Rate
Determination # 82 TX 487;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 inserting Department of Labor Wage Rate
Determination # 82 TX 691 dated February 2 , 1983 into the contract
documents.
