WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of the
Magnolia Park Basketball Pavillion; and,
WHEREAS, D & H Construction of Beaumont, Texas submitted a
bid in the amount of $30,826. 00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by D & H Construction is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of D & H Construction is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with D & H Construction in the amount of $30 ,826 .00 for the
construction of the Magnolia Park Basketball Pavillion.
