R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of pit sand;
and,
WHEREAS, Beeco Dirt Pit of Vidor, Texas submitted a bid in
the amount of $1 .40/cu.yd . to be picked up and M .E.H. Materials , Inc.
of Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the amount of $3 .43/cu .yd. to
be delivered to the landfill; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by Beeco Dirt Pit and M .E .H. Materials, Inc. are the lowest
and best bids and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Beeco Dirt Pit and M .E .H. Maaterials , Inc. for the
purchase of pit sand in the amounts listed above be accepted by the
City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to make
payment for same.
