WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of a new
playground and renovation of a parking lot at Sprott Park ; and,
WHEREAS, Jay Garth, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$48 , 266. 00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Jay Garth, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Jay Garth, Inc. is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with Jay Garth, Inc. in the amount of $48 ,266 .00 for the
construction of a new playground and renovation of a parking lot at
Sprott Park .
