R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of five ( 5 )
sideloading packer units; and,
WHEREAS, Industrial Disposal Supply Co. of Houston, Texas
submitted a unit price bid in the amount of $25 ,678 each; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Industrial Disposal Supply Co. is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Industrial Disposal Supply Co. for the purchase of
five ( 5 ) sideloading packer units in the amount of $128 ,390 .00 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont and that the City Manager is hereby
authorized to make payment in the amount of $135 ,601 . 50 for the
units, including freight and ancillary equipment.
