WHEREAS, on September 14 , 1982 , the City of Beaumont
awarded a contract to Sabine Consolidated, Inc. in the amount of
$227 ,950.00 for the construction of 8600 feet of 16" water main on
the north side of College Street; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the construction of 8600 feet of 16" water main on the north
side of College Street is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont
and the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to make final
payment to Sabine Consolidated, Inc. in the amount of $11 ,648 . 00 .
