WHEREAS, on August 18 , 1981 , the City of Beaumont awarded
a contract to Trotti & Thomson in the amount of $488,309. 00 for the
construction of the Riverfront Park Pedestrian Underpass; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed at a cost of
$ 490 ,002. 50 which is $1 ,693. 50 above the contract price;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the construction of the Riverfront Park Pedestrian Underpass
is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be,
and he is hereby , authorized to make final payment to Trotti &
Thomson in the amount of $67 ,872. 17 .
