WHEREAS, on October 5 , 1982 , the City of Beaumont awarded
a contract to J. R. Plake, Inc. in the amount of $24 ,984. 60 for the
construction of three ( 3 ) pedestrian bridges at Klein Park; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been Completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the construction of three ( 3 ) pedestrian bridges at Klein Park
is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be,
and he is hereby , authorized to make final payment to J . R. Plake ,
Inc. in the amount of $24 ,984. 60.
