WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one ( 1 )
rescue tool; and,
WHEREAS, Ferrara Firefighting Equipment of Louisiana
submitted a bid in the amount of $9 ,680 .00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Ferrara Firefighting Equipment is the lowest bid meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Ferrara Firefighting Equipment for the purchase of
one ( 1 ) rescue tool in the amount of $9 ,680. 00 be accepted by the
City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to make
payment for same upon acceptable delivery .
