R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, bids were received for Grant #C-482154-04 -
Contract 7-Astor, Charles, Pine & Florida Street Lift Stations; and,
WHEREAS, Saucier & Sons Enterprises , Inc. submitted a bid
in the amount of *197,273. 00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Saucier & Sons Enterprises, Inc. is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Saucier & Sons Enterprises, Inc. is hereby accepted
by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Saucier & Sons Enterprises, Inc. , subject to
Environmental Protection Agency and Texas Department of Water
Resources approval , in the amount of $197 ,273 .00 for Grant
#C-482154-04 - Contract 7-Astor, Charles, Pine and Florida Street
Lift Stations.
