R. E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the purchase
of 0 . 4587 acres of land out of the Thomas Spear Survey , Abstract No.
50 , needed for the Lawrence Drive Force Main, Contract #9 of EPA
Grant #C-481254 ;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the above described parcel of land is hereby
authorized from the owners , Channel Industries Gas Company and
Houston Pipe Line Company , for the amount of $1 ,600 .00 .
