WHEREAS, on May 4 , 1982 ,the City of Beaumont awarded a
contract to Mar-Len, Inc . in the amount of $578 ,963 .00 for EPA Grant
#C-481254-04 , Contract #2 - Harriot Street Lift Station; and ,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance with
the plans and specifications;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the work performed under EPA Grant #C-481254-04 , Contract #2 -
Harriot Street Lift Station, is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to make
final payment to Mar-Len, Inc . in the amount of $61 ,615 .75 .
