R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one 15 ,000-
watt generator to be used as a standby generator for the radio shop
in case of power failure; and,
WHEREAS, Hewitt Pump, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
X9,698 . 00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Hewitt Pump, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Hewitt Pump, Inc. for one 15,000-watt generator in
the amount of $9 ,698 . 00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the
City Manager is hereby authorized to make payment for same upon
acceptable delivery .
