R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of twenty
( 20) portable dictating units; and,
WHEREAS, Dictaphone Corporation of Beaumont, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $6 ,895 .00 ; and ,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Dictaphone Corporation is the best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Dictaphone Corporation in the amount of $6 ,895.00
for twenty ( 20) portable dictating units be accepted by the City of
Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to pay for same
upon acceptable delivery .
