WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of five ( 5 )
tractors; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted:

International Sales & Service Two ( 2 ) 4 ,000 Pound $15 ,988 .00
( Beaumont, Texas) Wheel Tractors
Hyco Equipment, Inc. Three (3 ) Low Center $35,403 .00
(Beaumont, Texas) of Gravity Tractors
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by International Sales and Service and Hyco Equipment,
Inc. are the lowest and best bids and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of International Sales & Service in the amount of
$15, 988 . 00 for two ( 2 ) 4 ,000 pound wheel tractors and Hyco
Equipment, Inc. in the amount of $35,403 .00 for three ( 3) low
center of gravity tractors be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and
the City Manager is hereby authorized to pay for same upon
acceptable delivery.
