R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual maintenance
contract for the computer located at the Beaumont Police Department;
and,
WHEREAS, Data Corporation of Chicago, Illinois submitted a
bid in the amount of $7, 387 . 20 ;
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Data Corporation is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Data Corporation is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with Data Corporation in the amount of $7 , 387 . 20 for an
annual maintenance contract for the computer located at the Beaumont
Police Department.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, a proposal was received for renewal of an annual
contract for vending service at the Beaumont Municipal Airport; and,
WHEREAS, Beaumont Tom' s Sales, Inc. submitted a proposal to
pay the following to the City;
1 ) Ten percent ( 10% ) of gross receipts from coffee
machine sales, sandwiches, fruit juices and snack
machine sales.
2) Forty-five cents ($0 .45) per case for soft drinks
sold from machines.
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
proposal submitted by Beaumont Tom' s Sales, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the proposal of Beaumont Tom' s Sales, Inc. is hereby accepted by
the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Beaumont Tom' s Sales, Inc . for the
consideration stated above for a renewal of vending service at
Beaumont Municipal Airport.
