R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for Contract 8C, Stonetown-Best,
Helbig Road and Bennett Street Lift Stations - Grant #C-481254-04 ;
and,
WHEREAS, Gulf Coast Industrial Contractors, Inc. submitted a
bid in the amount of $424 ,000 . 00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Gulf Coast Industrial Contractors, Inc. is the lowest and
best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Gulf Coast Industrial Contractors , Inc. is hereby
accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with Gulf Coast Industrial
Contractors, Inc . , subject to Environmental Protection. Agency and
Texas Department of Water Resources approval , in the amount of
$424 ,000. 00 for Contract 8C, Stonetown-Best, Helbig Road and Bennett
Street "Lift Stations-Grant #C-481254-04 .
